The Challenge
As a large, listed multinational FMCG group with a complex operating structure, the organisation has made sustainability and ESG a clear strategic priority, embedding it into its governance, decision-making and long-term value creation agenda. In line with this commitment, the Group needed to convene its boards and key committees to align shared expectations on ESG oversight, climate considerations and risk governance across the organisation.

The Programme – ESG Oversight and Risk Governance Workshop
SID Board Academy delivered a half‑day, in-country, in‑person session at the joint meeting of the Audit, Sustainability and Risk Management Committee. The programme brought together 96 board directors (excluding senior management) across these committees, with nearly 200 participants in total representing more than six subsidiary companies.
